Garment Technician

Job summary

The role involves ensuring the fit, quality, and technical execution of Teamsport apparel throughout the development process, collaborating closely with designers, buyers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree as a garment technician, professional bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant education.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a garment technician within apparel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including stylesheets and measurement charts.
• Measure and evaluate samples from proto to shipment.
• Fit, comment on, and approve samples to ensure satisfactory quality.
• Collect and document wash and wear tests, and maintain a seasonal colour library.

Skills

• Strong understanding of fitting, measurement charts, grading, and pattern understanding.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with international suppliers and managing deadlines.

Tools

• Proficient in Illustrator and preferably Delogue or similar PLM systems; experience with Gerber Accumark is a plus.
