Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing computational physics problems that simulate real research workflows. Contributors will create Python-based problems that require advanced reasoning in various physics domains.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied physics, research, or teaching.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).

Responsibilities

  • Design original computational physics problems that are computationally intensive and based on real research challenges.
  • Create problems that require Python programming to solve, utilizing libraries such as Numpy and SciPy.
  • Verify solutions using Python and document problem statements clearly with verified answers.

Skills

  • Creative problem design across diverse physics areas.
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.

Education

Compensation

  • Degree in Physics or a related field is required.
  • Contributors can earn up to $45 per hour based on their expertise and contribution pace, with project time expectations of 10–20 hours per week during active phases.
