Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing computational physics problems that reflect real research workflows. Contributors will create Python-based problems that require significant computational resources and document their solutions clearly.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied physics, research, or teaching.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods.
  • Ability to design problems that reflect real physics research workflows.
  • Creative problem design skills across various physics domains.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.

Compensation

Earn up to $45 per hour, depending on experience and contribution level.

  • Design original computational physics problems.
  • Create Python programming tasks using libraries like Numpy and SciPy.
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require complex reasoning.
  • Develop problems based on actual research challenges.
  • Verify solutions using Python and document problem statements.
