Job summary

This is a freelance, fully remote position for a Mobile App Developer focused on building native and cross-platform applications for iOS and Android. The role involves applying mobile engineering skills to create stable, user-friendly applications for various categories, including utilities, fitness, games, and more.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin.
  • Create responsive mobile UIs adhering to platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design).
  • Integrate native device features such as camera, notifications, and location services.
  • Connect applications to backend APIs and manage offline states and caching.
  • Implement monetization features like in-app purchases and ads.
  • Review and optimize application code for performance and maintainability.
  • Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution.

Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI patterns and platform guidelines.
  • Experience with REST APIs, async data handling, and local storage management.
  • Familiarity with mobile build tools and submission processes for App Store and Google Play.
  • Knowledge of backend services like Firebase or Supabase is a plus.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a technical field is a plus.

Tools

  • Experience with mobile development tools and frameworks relevant to iOS and Android platforms.
