Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing computational engineering problems and utilizing Python for simulations and calculations. Contributors will engage in tasks that require a blend of engineering knowledge and programming skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Strong written English skills (C1+ level).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international projects are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, based on specific project requirements.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace, with variations based on project scope and complexity.

• Create problems that necessitate Python programming for engineering calculations and simulations.
