Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities focused on enhancing AI systems through the design of computational biology problems. Contributors will engage in tasks that simulate real-world biology research workflows and require Python programming for solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Experience with biological data analysis and algorithms.
• Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and computational methods.
• Strong written English skills (C1+ level).

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $45 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace, with variations based on project scope and complexity.
