Job summary

The role involves ensuring compliance with financial reporting, tax, treasury, company secretarial, and legal requirements specifically for the Denmark region. The Financial Controller will oversee financial reporting and control, manage company secretarial duties, assist in mergers and acquisitions, handle tax accounting and reporting, and address legal matters.

Qualifications

  • Ideally a qualified accountant or strong background in finance.
  • Proficient in IFRS and technical accounting.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and legal compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial information.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Review monthly management accounts and statutory adjustments.
  • Analyze management accounts for compliance and control.
  • Prepare and file local statutory accounts.
  • Maintain records of financial disclosures and compliance.
  • Ensure timely completion of company filings and meeting documentation.
  • Assist in due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
  • Manage tax projections, returns, and compliance.
  • Handle local legal matters and contract compliance.
  • Authorize payments and manage treasury reporting.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.

Education

  • Qualified accountant preferred or equivalent experience.

Tools

  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools and compliance software.
