Job summary

This position is for a student assistant to support the International Finance team in their operations within the humanitarian sector. The role is based in Copenhagen and involves assisting with various financial tasks related to international projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Experience or interest in finance systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of Danish is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in working in an international finance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and organizing financial reports and documentation for donors and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform cross-cutting tasks for the International Finance team, including tool development and system updates.
  • Support monitoring and financial reporting on global projects, including budget analysis.
  • Help with financial management tasks related to various countries and regional offices.
  • Organize monitoring reports and assist with archiving and information sharing.
  • Collaborate with International Controllers and the Global Finance Officer during the audit process for international projects.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant university program.

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Excel.
