Job summary

This role involves providing financial insights and decision support for green fuel activities within the Energy Transition Finance team. The position focuses on evaluating opportunities, assessing risks, and supporting informed decision-making to advance decarbonization efforts in shipping.

Qualifications

  • Experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, FP&A, product control, risk, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with data tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in energy markets, fuels, commodities, or sustainability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drive performance management, reporting, forecasting, and planning activities.
  • Conduct financial, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to support business decisions.
  • Support financial due diligence for fuel supply agreements and new products.
  • Help stakeholders understand financial implications of evolving fuel markets and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and automation.
  • Build strong partnerships across Energy Transition, Energy Markets, and Finance teams.
  • Support the development of sustainable financial processes for emerging fuels and regulatory requirements.

Education

  • Relevant degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
