Field Application Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves being a vital member of the Embedded Technical Sales team, focusing on the Nordic region. The Field Application Engineer will engage with customers in both pre- and post-sale activities, emphasizing Adaptive SoC technology across various core vertical markets such as Industrial, Datacenter, Robotics, Healthcare, and Aerospace & Defense.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical initiatives and activities for key customers in collaboration with account managers.
• Build relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to engineers and architects in assigned accounts.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for design win strategies.
• Drive the technical aspects of strategy proposals for key programs.
• Advise customer designers on optimal use of technology and manage technical support issues.
• Ensure effective utilization of technology and provide on-site technical support.
• Analyze customer needs and influence technology preferences.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop technical proposals.
• Offer feedback to management on customer needs for marketing and product development.
• Lead technical solution creation to demonstrate value propositions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; Master's preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in FPGA-based architecture definition and support.
• Experience with AMD SoCs and EDA tools, particularly Vivado or Quartus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.

Skills

• Knowledge of industrial and datacenter markets is advantageous.
• Experience in technical sales and embedded system design tools.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with EDA tools, AMD’s IP Integrator, SDK, EDK tools, and Eclipse-based environments.
