Fabric Quality Specialist

Job summary

The role involves ensuring that fabrics used in workwear production meet high standards of quality, safety, and performance. The position is based in Pårup, Denmark, within the Sourcing & Quality Department, and requires collaboration with various internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in the textile industry, particularly in quality and product development.
• Knowledge of performance and workwear fabrics.
• Familiarity with dyeing, finishing, textile testing, and inspection processes.
• Experience in fabric sourcing and supplier management.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, at a technical and negotiation level.
• Proficient with SAP, PLM, SharePoint, or other digital supply chain tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain quality agreements with suppliers, ensuring relevant testing data and documentation are available.
• Approve supplier lab dips and archive all relevant colour data.
• Maintain SAP data and create inspection plans.
• Communicate corrections to fabric specifications to Marketing.
• Archive supplier contracts and related documentation.
• Follow up on supplier quality issues, claims, and corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance and report quality performance to the Head of Sourcing and Quality.
• Collaborate with product development, design, and procurement on fabric selection.
• Work with testing labs to ensure consistent application of testing methods.
