About the role

Job summary

The role involves driving international growth for a leading veterinary company across the APAC region. The Export Manager will be responsible for managing distributor partnerships, developing business strategies, and enhancing commercial performance in assigned markets.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in international B2B sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of creating profitable growth through distributors in the APAC region.
  • Experience in the veterinary, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with skills in managing budgets and sales pipelines.
  • A relevant commercial degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Asian languages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with the company's global commercial strategy.
  • Take full commercial ownership of assigned markets, focusing on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and grow distributor partnerships through joint business planning and performance reviews.
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand market presence across APAC.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing for successful product positioning and launches.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare market analyses and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and CRM for accurate forecasting.
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, distributors, and strategic customers.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events, with approximately 90 travel days expected per year.

Skills

  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with sales data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, CRM, and general IT skills.
  • A structured and data-driven approach to sales planning and execution.

Education

  • A relevant commercial degree or equivalent business experience.
