Job summary

The Engineering Team Leader is responsible for managing a small product team of engineers while actively participating in product development. Qualifications

• Experience managing an engineering team of at least 2 members.
• Extensive background in Backend development (Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby, or functional programming).

• Proven track record of delivering secure, reliable, and scalable production systems.
• Familiarity with designing and improving automation workflows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and instill confidence in team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage a product team of 3-5 engineers, spending 30% of time on management tasks.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding processes for new engineers.
• Provide continuous feedback and coaching to team members.
• Redesign engineering workflows to incorporate autonomous agents.
• Propose and implement agentic workflows to enhance delivery speed and quality.
• Ensure the correctness and reliability of outcomes through verification loops.
