Job summary

The role involves leading a project engineering team within a global engineering organization, focusing on technical excellence and collaboration. The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering activities that align with customer needs and business requirements, particularly in the Nordic markets.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in engineering, equipment, or food and beverage manufacturing.
  • Several years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Degree in engineering, ideally in process or mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with engineering-to-order, design engineering, and customer projects.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project engineering activities to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and project requirements.
  • Manage the engineering team and allocate resources effectively for projects and technical support.
  • Plan and coordinate departmental resources, monitor project progress, and contribute to scope clarifications and technical input.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources from the global engineering team and maintain accurate engineering documentation and specifications.
  • Drive process optimization and improvements in collaboration with engineering teams in the DACH Nordic cluster.
  • Support alignment with engineering standards and strategic initiatives across functions.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and technical understanding to create structure and progress in engineering activities.
  • Ability to navigate complex engineering environments and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Education

  • Degree in engineering, preferably in process or mechanical engineering or similar.

Tools

  • Familiarity with engineering processes, tools, and templates relevant to project execution.
