About the role

Job summary

The role involves leading M&A operational diligence and value creation as part of the Strategy and Execution team. The Engagement Manager will work on high-impact engagements throughout the deal lifecycle, collaborating closely with clients to drive results and contribute to team development.

Qualifications

  • 7-8+ years of experience in M&A strategy and execution, covering both pre- and post-deal engagements.
  • Experience in client-facing or in-house roles related to the M&A cycle and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage various pre- and post-deal engagements, including due diligence, deal strategy, synergies, and operational value creation.
  • Assist in business origination efforts, including pitches and presentations.
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives and support team culture.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for junior team members, with responsibilities in recruitment and training.

Skills

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex ideas into actionable insights.
  • Ownership of work with a focus on quality and impact.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with M&A tools and methodologies, as well as project management frameworks.
