Employment Law Counsel (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves providing expert legal advice on employment law matters within a global biopharmaceutical organization. The Employment Law Counsel will focus on ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the development of effective employment practices and policies.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or equivalent degree from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Experience collaborating with HR, Compliance, Data Privacy, and Equity Compensation.
• Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality.
• Experience with employment law across multiple jurisdictions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment law issues including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour matters, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with HR to develop and update employment policies to ensure compliance.
• Manage responses to employment-related claims and regulatory inquiries.
• Handle employee relations issues and investigations in partnership with HR.
• Stay informed on employment law changes and trends.
• Contribute to the strategic objectives of the legal team and the organization.

Education
