This role involves leading the electrical engineering scope for offshore charging solutions, focusing on system integration and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance electrical designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in offshore environments.
  • Strong background in electrical system integration.
  • Knowledge of high- and low-voltage systems, including transformers and switchgear.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with vessel electrical design and offshore cabling is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical scope for offshore charging solutions, ensuring technical delivery and collaboration.
  • Develop safe procedures for high-voltage offshore operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage electrical interfaces across disciplines for system integrity.
  • Foster a safety culture and apply lessons learned to improve designs.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and manage subcontractors for timely and quality delivery.
  • Assist Business Development with electrical system designs and risk assessments.
  • Monitor market trends to enhance offshore charging solutions.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums for offshore power standardization.

  • Ability to handle technical complexity and stakeholder interactions effectively.

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Tools

  • Familiarity with electrical design software and tools relevant to offshore engineering.
