Job summary

This role involves leading the electrical engineering scope for offshore charging solutions, focusing on technical delivery and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The position is critical for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of high-voltage offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in offshore environments
• Strong experience in electrical system integration
• Solid understanding of high- and low-voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, and power converters
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication
• Experience with vessel electrical design and offshore cabling is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical scope of offshore charging solutions
• Develop safe and practical procedures for high-voltage operations
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage electrical interfaces across disciplines for system integrity
• Foster a strong safety culture and apply lessons learned to improve designs
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage subcontractors for timely delivery
• Support Business Development with high-level electrical designs and risk assessments
• Monitor market trends to enhance offshore charging solutions
• Represent the organization in industry forums for offshore power standardization
