E-Beam Engineer (Healthcare, Espergærde)

Job summary

The role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of electron beam sterilization equipment in an international engineering context, primarily based in Espergærde, Denmark, with occasional travel to sites in Shanghai and Thailand.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or relevant technical education
• Experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or advanced industrial equipment
• Familiarity with high-power/high-frequency electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and analytical mindset
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), CAD, or other engineering software
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, conveyors, automation systems) is a plus
• Experience in regulated industries with high safety and quality standards is advantageous
• Familiarity with electron beam technology or sterilization processes is beneficial but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize the performance of electron beam accelerators and related equipment
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues
• Optimize preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Support corrective maintenance and complex repairs as necessary
• Conduct equipment audits and risk assessments
• Develop and maintain maintenance documentation and CMMS data
• Lead or support engineering projects, including equipment upgrades and replacements
• Collaborate with local site teams to implement technical solutions
• Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical training across various sites

Skills

• Strong technical background in complex industrial environments
• Excellent communication skills for international collaboration

Education

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
