The Director of the Project Management Office for the Clinical & Diagnostics Division is a pivotal leadership role focused on shaping strategic priorities and guiding portfolio investment decisions. This position involves leading the evolution of the PMO by integrating capabilities and driving organizational change to support growth.

Qualifications

  • Over 8 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, leading large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership in managing PMO organizations within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies; PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Successful track record in leading organizational change and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong capabilities in people leadership, including hiring and talent development.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience in regulated healthcare or life sciences is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the CDD Project Management Office, focusing on talent development and performance management.
  • Oversee portfolio planning and governance processes, including project roadmap planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure successful execution of new product introductions and strategic initiatives through effective project management practices.
  • Build project management excellence by developing project managers and establishing best practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align priorities and resolve execution challenges.
  • Provide strategic planning support and organizational change leadership to division leadership.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
