Director of Wind Turbine Test Centers

Job summary

This role involves leading and developing Denmark's wind turbine prototype test centers, ensuring operational excellence and strategic expansion. The Director will engage with various stakeholders to maintain high-quality operations and foster relationships with authorities and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in large-scale technical infrastructure or energy systems
• Familiarity with regulatory or public-sector interfaces
• Knowledge of the wind energy sector is advantageous
• Strong decision-making and strategic planning abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, reliable, and efficient operations of the test centers
• Lead the strategic expansion of Test Centre Østerild, including managing programs and developing business cases
• Ensure alignment with regulatory processes and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Manage financial performance, including budgets and investment planning
• Develop and lead a multidisciplinary team across multiple locations
