Director of Business Development (Denmark)

Job summary

The role involves developing new business opportunities and securing order intake in Denmark and Sweden, aligning with the company's technical and economic targets. The position requires establishing partnerships and managing customer relationships in both B2C and B2B contexts.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in economics, engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex business environments
• Several years of experience in International Sales/Business Development in the Nordics, particularly Denmark
• Familiarity with military and security programs
• Strong understanding of the tendering process in Denmark and Sweden, especially in defense
• Excellent network within the Danish and Swedish defense industries and the Ministry of Defence, including procurement agencies

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the business strategy for Denmark and Sweden in line with group targets
• Develop a long-term customer-oriented network and identify key industrial partners
• Identify and mature new business opportunities into actionable campaigns
• Contribute to the country strategy with market and competition insights
• Support order intake planning and achievement aligned with regional targets
• Ensure compliance with business processes and stakeholder engagement
• Build and maintain trust relationships with stakeholders, partners, and authorities
• Manage local team tasks and responsibilities
