About the role

Job summary

This role involves leading and developing the corporate strategy for a major organization, driving complex strategic projects, and managing a team within the Global Strategy & Business Development Team. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Top Management Consulting or an in-house strategy unit in a larger company.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team of 3-4 individuals.
  • Experience in a consumer-oriented company (e.g., FMCG, retail) is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a key market language is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the development and finalization of corporate strategy, supporting executive leadership.
  • Lead strategic projects from inception to executive decision-making, managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Serve as the internal project lead and analytical problem solver to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for Board meetings.
  • Translate market insights into strategic challenges and implications.
  • Support CEO priorities and conduct ad hoc analyses.
  • Present findings to senior leadership effectively.
  • Mentor and develop team members within the Global Strategy & Business Development Team.

Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with both quantitative and qualitative skills.
  • Excellent storytelling and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for high-quality deliverables.

Education

  • Relevant degree in business, strategy, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
