Forward Deployed Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

The role of a Forward Deployed Engineer involves working closely with clients to understand their operations and identify optimization opportunities. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in AI and data, commercial awareness to recognize business value, and the patience to support clients through the adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in management consulting, change management, or the adoption of AI solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of software development, machine learning, or data engineering.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and MLOps, with exposure to evaluation processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to assess operations and identify areas for value creation.
• Drive the adoption of AI solutions by managing rollout sequences and collaborating with end-users.
• Translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions that are successfully implemented.
• Monitor system performance and know when to adjust deployment strategies based on load conditions.

Skills

• Strong technical background in AI and data systems.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage projects from initial concept to live deployment.
• Curiosity and a proactive, builder mentality.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a technical field preferred.

Tools

• Experience with coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI and data engineering tools and frameworks.
