Digital Solution Engineer (Offshore Wind Industry)

Job summary

The role involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing data to optimize operational performance in the offshore wind sector. The Digital Solution Engineer will bridge offshore operational teams and onshore engineering, translating operational data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Academic degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, geotechnical, marine) or data science with strong technical/engineering exposure

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data from vessel systems, jacking logs, geotechnical data, and installation records.
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Python-based dashboards) based on the data platform.
• Identify trends, deviations, and performance improvement opportunities based on installation and jacking data.
• Support root cause analysis of operational events using data-driven methodologies.
• Propose and refine engineering performance metrics in collaboration with the Operational Excellence and BI teams.
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation using data analytics.
• Engage with clients for data-driven reporting or performance analysis.
