Job summary

This role involves shaping the digital partner ecosystem for a global pharmaceutical organization, focusing on governance and strategic technology partnerships. The Digital Ecosystem Architect will work with senior leadership and stakeholders to transition from a fragmented supplier landscape to a cohesive, outcome-driven ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing or transforming technology partner models in complex global environments, particularly with enterprise platforms like SAP or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and digital delivery models, especially within regulated industries.
  • Proven ability to create governance models and translate technology requirements into strategic direction for leadership.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing across technology, procurement, and finance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to maintain a big-picture perspective while driving progress.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and building clarity from scratch.
  • Relevant degree and several years of experience in technology management, digital strategy, or enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across functions to drive the transformation and governance of the digital partner ecosystem.
  • Design the target state for the digital partner ecosystem, including partnership models and governance structures.
  • Co-develop architectural standards and compliance expectations for technology partners.
  • Lead the assessment of the current supplier landscape and identify consolidation opportunities.
  • Build relationships with critical global technology partners to align with strategic goals.
  • Develop strategic materials for leadership to support decisions on partner investments.
  • Work closely with Procurement and Finance to align sourcing activities with technology strategy.

Education

  • A relevant degree in technology management, digital strategy, enterprise architecture, or related fields.
