DevOps Engineer

A technology company focused on developing software solutions to combat crime is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their IT & infrastructure team. The role involves enhancing collaboration between development and IT operations, improving software quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in DevOps and software development.
• Proven experience in automating and optimizing the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in various scripting and programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills to ensure system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to enhance productivity and performance.
• Develop custom tools to automate tasks and improve deployment efficiency.
• Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using On-premise Kubernetes/Docker and Terraform.
• Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies for continuous improvement.

Skills

• Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Node, and general scripting.
• Software development experience in Java, Spring, Typescript, and React.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and relevant tools.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure provisioning and maintenance, including Ansible and Terraform.
• Understanding of collaboration between IT operations and software development teams.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
