DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The role involves designing, building, automating, and operating a modern cloud-native platform on Microsoft Azure. The DevOps Engineer will create infrastructure, tools, and processes to enable development teams to deploy and run applications safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, access control, and security.
• Proven experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes platforms, managing the cluster lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Flux CD.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
• Monitor the platform and troubleshoot production incidents.

Skills

• Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes ingress controllers, networking, storage, and observability.
• Experience monitoring systems and performing root-cause analysis.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
