Development & Operational Planning Manager

Job summary

This role involves leveraging analytical skills to shape the planning and delivery of new products within the Development & Operational Planning (D&OP) team. The position is based in Billund, Denmark, and requires collaboration across functions to optimize product pipelines and balance long-term ambitions with development capacity.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of D&OP materials and the Portfolio Master Plan.
• Analyze complex situations to provide recommendations for balancing portfolio planning and development capacity.
• Develop demand models to translate portfolio plans into resource demand signals.
• Establish effective processes and streamline workflows across D&OP interfaces.
• Drive the adoption and optimization of the D&OP platform, ensuring alignment of processes, tools, and data.
• Lead D&OP social team activities.

Skills

• Operational experience in Product Development, Sales & Operations Planning, or Business Planning Processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI is preferred.
• Experience in Product, Marketing, and Development is a plus.

Education

• Relevant educational background in a related field is expected.

Tools

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analysis software is beneficial.
