Job summary

This position involves the development of high-speed optical transceivers for data center interconnects, requiring hands-on lab work and collaboration with various technical teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of industry experience with high-speed optical or digital communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience in laboratory measurement, validation, and debugging of high-speed hardware.
  • Knowledge of optoelectronic components and transceiver architectures.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and RF principles.
  • Strong ownership and project management skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, MATLAB).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, adaptation, and validation of high-speed optical transceivers.
  • Manage development programs from requirements definition to production release.
  • Collaborate with system architects and various engineering teams.
  • Conduct laboratory bring-up, debugging, and optimization of prototypes.
  • Perform electrical and optical characterization to meet industry standards.
  • Assist in root-cause analysis and performance optimization at both component and system levels.

Skills

  • Strong technical leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities in a lab environment.

Education

  • Master's degree in a relevant field; Ph.D. is a plus.

Tools

  • Familiarity with laboratory measurement tools and programming/scripting languages.
