Job summary

The role involves leading a newly established department focused on AI strategy, innovation, and adoption within the engineering sector. The Department Manager will build a high-performing team and drive the implementation of AI solutions to transform engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, digital transformation, or management consulting.
• Extensive understanding of AI and digital solutions, with the ability to create actionable strategies.
• Proven experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and driving alignment in complex organizations.
• Degree in Business Administration & Strategy, Technology Management, Data Science, or Machine Learning is preferred.
• Experience in pharma, engineering, or capital projects is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Establish a Center of Excellence in collaboration with Global IT to implement the AI strategy.
• Develop processes for identifying and prioritizing AI opportunities that yield measurable business impact.
• Align business adoption with technical enablement for a cohesive AI approach.
• Build and scale a high-performing team, focusing on hiring and talent development.
• Foster a culture of ownership and continuous support within the team.
