Department Manager (Data Analytics, Virum/Kalundborg)

Job summary

The role involves leading a team within the Data Enablement & Analytics department, focusing on manufacturing data and digitalization in a regulated industry. The manager will oversee a team of 15-25 employees, primarily engineers and specialists, and will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, with formal or informal leadership roles.
• Understanding of engineering and IT project execution in regulated environments, preferably GMP.
• Knowledge of data engineering, data science, cloud services, UX, agile delivery, or relevant technical platforms such as AVEVA PI, DataBricks, or SynTQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team while promoting an inclusive culture.
• Coordinate resources across projects in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Denmark and India to enhance manufacturing data and analytics capabilities, with occasional travel to India.
• Identify new opportunities and shape the department's future direction with management.
