Job summary

The role involves developing and deploying machine learning models to drive business insights and operational efficiencies within the pharmaceutical sector. The Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a data science-related field (e.g., computer science, cognitive science, IT, mathematics/statistics, economics).
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Proficient in Data Science skills, including ML frameworks (scikit-learn, deep learning frameworks), data wrangling, data analysis, and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced models, including machine learning and deep learning solutions, to address complex business challenges.
• Analyze datasets to derive actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
• Create and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines for model deployment and lifecycle management.
• Optimize workflows and expand the Data Science/ML toolbox to improve model accuracy and maintainability.
• Integrate modern technologies to enhance technical infrastructure and efficiency.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging ML/AI methodologies to improve model performance.
• Communicate complex model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify potential data science applications for value creation.
• Contribute to long-term planning and roadmap definition.

Tools

• SQL, Web APIs, Git, Linux commands.
• Familiarity with MLOps, Spark, Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure/AWS), mlflow, ETL processes, CI/CD processes, and Databricks environment.
