About the role

Job summary

This role involves building and maintaining a modern data platform, focusing on supporting users and ensuring platform stability and scalability in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree, preferably a master’s in Data Engineering or Software Engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture

Responsibilities

  • Assist platform users with onboarding, troubleshooting, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain frameworks, templates, and standards
  • Contribute to platform documentation and self-service guidance
  • Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure components
  • Ensure platform stability, security, and scalability
  • Act as a technical partner for teams using the platform

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks in production
  • Proficiency in dbt (models, tests, macros)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, Git, CI/CD, and IaC
  • Understanding of data platform operations and lifecycle management
  • Ability to support and collaborate with multiple development teams
  • Familiarity with software development practices

Education

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical field preferred

  • Databricks, dbt, Git, CI/CD, IaC
