Job summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer who is enthusiastic about tackling complex data processing challenges in a high-scale environment. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining systems that handle large volumes of data, with a focus on strong software engineering principles and scalable data architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in data wrangling using languages such as Python, Go, or Scala.
• Solid experience with large-scale processing engines like Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, version control, and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with containerization management.

Responsibilities

• Propose and discuss technical solutions, and develop and review code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams, analysts, and data scientists to implement new features and translate requirements into production-level components.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of data governance and quality frameworks.
• Identify and address technical debt and inefficiencies within the data platform.
• Stay updated on new tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
• Share knowledge in team sessions and stand-ups.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools
