Data Center Project Manager

Job summary

The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering projects within live data center environments, ensuring safety, timeliness, and adherence to operational standards. The position requires collaboration across multiple data center sites and various teams, including operations, engineering, construction, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project costs adhere to budget requirements and contribute to staying within budget.
• Follow safety and security policies, reporting any issues immediately.
• Troubleshoot service incidents and escalate as necessary to meet service level agreements.
• Communicate potential customer impacts and plan accordingly.
• Proactively manage schedules to avoid conflicts and offer customer solutions.
• Maintain relationships with clients and suppliers to clarify and meet expectations.
• Suggest risk reduction strategies for maintenance activities.
• Hold self-accountable for service quality and customer experience.
• Embody company culture and values.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

This position is not remote and requires on-site work.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with proven industry experience, or relevant college coursework.
• Ability to pass required background checks for security screening.
• Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures or physical IT infrastructures.
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Network Certifications.
