Data Analyst (Remote, Global)

Job summary

This role involves supporting regulatory duties and maintaining the integrity of a consumer review platform through data analysis. The Data Analyst will work closely with various teams to provide insights and analytics that help protect trust within the community.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reporting best practices and delivering actionable insights using BI tools, particularly Looker.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills with a proven ability to deliver results.
• Advanced SQL skills, specifically with BigQuery.
• Experience in data modeling using DBT or similar tools for data pipeline construction.
• Familiarity with Python is a plus.
• Understanding of analytical methodologies, including regression and clustering analyses, as well as cohort analysis.
• Knowledge of Airflow and A/B testing methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all regulatory and compliance reporting.
• Provide expert analytics and insights across various business areas through both project-driven initiatives and ad-hoc requests.
• Develop data sets and dashboards to support Trust data integrity and auditability.
• Select appropriate analytical tools and methods to solve data-related problems.
• Collaborate with Comms, Investor Relations, Marketing, Compliance, and Trust teams to understand their data needs and objectives.
• Present findings and promote analytical work to facilitate data-informed decision-making.
• Scope and document projects effectively.
• Standardize and automate key reports to ensure data integrity, governance, and quality.

Skills

• Advanced SQL and experience with BI tools (Looker).
• Data modeling and pipeline experience (DBT or similar).
• Familiarity with analytical methodologies and tools (Airflow, Python).

Education

• Relevant degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
