Job summary

This role focuses on driving growth in designated market sectors, emphasizing the capture and dissemination of customer insights. Reporting to the Customer & Market Insights Manager, the position plays a crucial role in achieving strategic business objectives to enhance revenue and contribution margins. The role involves direct engagement with customers to align commercial strategies with their needs and ensure collaboration across various functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing commercial growth strategies in the mining sector.
  • Experience working with mining customers across different international regions.
  • Strong decision-making skills related to commercial negotiations and pricing.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using CRM, Power BI, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the commercial expert for the mining sector, enabling Sales to meet revenue targets and facilitating pricing strategies.
  • Lead efforts to win contracts and tenders as needed.
  • Conduct global field sales work to enhance Sales’ expertise in applications and processes.
  • Capture and share customer insights with relevant teams.
  • Develop tailored go-to-market strategies based on customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate insights into product development and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain a network of market contacts and represent the company at customer sites and events.
