Job summary

The role of Crew Operator involves managing crew planning and operational readiness for a global fleet, ensuring vessels are adequately manned according to flag requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in crewing or maritime operations, preferably in Crewing or Marine HR.
  • Excellent command of English for effective communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to plan and execute tasks in a structured manner.
  • Experience interacting in an international environment with diverse nationalities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Background in seafaring is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vessels are manned according to requirements and guidelines.
  • Provide long-term relief rotation and advance planning for crew.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Groups for technical and management needs.
  • Manage crew changes effectively.
  • Evaluate crew performance and identify training needs.
  • Ensure compliance of crew documents and certificates.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew change activities.
  • Conduct work activities prioritizing health and safety of seafarers.
  • Promote communication between colleagues at sea and shore.
  • Participate in Crew Operations activities and projects as needed.
  • Ensure data quality in systems is maintained.

Education

  • Relevant experience in maritime operations or related fields is required.
