Job summary

The Crew Operator is responsible for managing crew planning and operational readiness for a global fleet of vessels, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in crewing or maritime operations, with a successful track record in Crewing or Marine HR.
• Excellent command of English for effective communication.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a results-driven mindset.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
• Strong planning and execution skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Background in seafaring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels are adequately manned according to flag requirements and company guidelines.
• Provide long-term relief rotation and advance planning for crew members.
• Coordinate with Fleet Groups for technical and management vessel requirements.
• Manage crew changes effectively.
• Evaluate crew performance and identify training needs.
• Ensure compliance and validity of crew documents and certificates.
• Maintain accurate records of crew change activities in the planning system.
• Conduct work activities prioritizing the health and safety of seafarers.
• Foster effective communication between sea and shore teams through dialogue and vessel visits.
• Participate in Crew Operations activities and projects as needed.
• Ensure data quality in systems is consistently updated.
