The role involves taking full ownership of the Swedish market, focusing on strategy, execution, and commercial performance. The Country Manager will be responsible for driving market growth and ensuring brand competitiveness and compliance in Sweden.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the iGaming industry (casino or sports betting).
  • At least 2 years in a Country Manager role specifically for Sweden.
  • In-depth understanding of Swedish customer behavior, cultural nuances, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven expertise in acquisition channels, CRM, promotional strategies, and product-market fit in the Swedish context.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the P&L for Sweden and establish a roadmap for sustainable growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and player behavior to inform local strategy.
  • Collaborate with CRM, Content, Product, Affiliation, and Compliance teams to enhance local performance across acquisition, retention, and product positioning.
  • Localize global campaigns to ensure relevance for the Swedish audience and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement local promotional, bonus, and retention strategies for both casino and sports sectors.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, budgets, and forecasts; prepare performance reports and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and manage relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders in the market.
  • Lead local projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution and strong brand visibility across various channels.
