Commissioning Supervisor (Renewable Energy, Remote/Europe)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing the commissioning of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) as part of an offshore completion team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while collaborating with various construction teams. Responsibilities include supervising less experienced staff, troubleshooting, and maintaining WTGs, as well as ensuring a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Technical education in electrical or mechanical fields with experience in WTGs
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control processes
• Ability to pass offshore medical and fitness requirements
• Proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Supervise and mentor junior supervisors and technicians
• Conduct WTG completion and start-up procedures
• Troubleshoot and maintain WTGs
• Identify and manage deviations in processes
