Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Merchandising or Expansion roles.
  • Formal education in a quantitative field such as Business or Finance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases and calculate ROI.
  • Proficient in linking commercial analysis to store layout and setup.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of Expansion and Commercial Merchandising workflows.
  • Familiarity with supply chain complexities and physical store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize product assortment and size based on sales performance and demand analysis.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of sales trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams on stock adjustments and replenishment strategies.
  • Set commercial business cases and ideal store capacities for new and existing stores.
  • Execute allocation actions for store projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Conduct on-site visits to ensure effective commercial execution and enhance customer experience.
  • Share insights and performance learnings with relevant stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across functions.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, supply chain, and store operations.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and forecasting methods is beneficial.
