This role focuses on enhancing the planning, forecasting, and trading processes within the Parcels business. The Commercial Planning Manager will design methodologies and frameworks that align commercial goals with actionable plans, collaborating closely with analytics teams to ensure robust planning foundations are in place for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial planning, business planning, trading, or a similar role.
• Expertise in designing and improving statistical forecasting models.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in business planning contexts.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini for enhancing planning processes.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and evaluation metrics.

Responsibilities

• Redesign budgeting and forecasting processes using advanced data and AI tools.
• Improve planning accuracy and reduce manual work through automation.
• Lead core commercial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Analyze market performance and customer demand to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure forecasts are aligned with business targets.

Skills

• Ability to implement AI-assisted workflows and scalable planning tools.

Education
