Clinical Customer Development Specialist (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves supporting procalcitonin (PCT) testing strategies in healthcare settings to enhance the diagnosis of bacterial infections and promote antibiotic stewardship. The position is fully remote and focuses on developing relationships with healthcare providers and key decision-makers to drive test utilization and protocol adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare/Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field (equivalent experience considered; PhD preferred)
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in healthcare, ideally in diagnostic lab settings or customer development
• Clinical/scientific background with experience in Health Economics and Market Access preferred
• Proven success in a cross-functional healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profiling, targeting, and developing healthcare providers within a designated region
• Establish relationships with key customers, including Laboratory Leadership and Clinical Leads
• Define business strategies in alignment with License Partners and target accounts
• Gain agreement from decision-makers for broad test utilization and hospital-wide protocol adoption
• Analyze account dynamics to understand customer objectives and clinical challenges
• Deliver educational programs through presentations and clinical sessions
• Collaborate with regional Scientific Liaisons and Marketing teams to provide clinical insights
• Represent the organization at various meetings and events
• Accountable for an annual operating growth plan and specific activity metrics
• Update business data in the customer relationship management tool
