Job summary

The role involves leading strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier partnerships in the warehousing and customs category within a global logistics procurement context. The position is critical for ensuring efficient and compliant logistics operations in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in global procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, particularly in warehousing, logistics, customs, and trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, networks, and service provider management.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and conduct commercial negotiations independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the global subject matter expert for warehousing operations and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Lead the Warehousing & Customs category, managing sourcing decisions and supplier strategies.
  • Oversee supplier relationships, including sourcing, tendering, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
  • Monitor market developments and risks to inform category strategies.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure performance in cost, service, and customs.
  • Promote continuous improvement and collaboration across functions.

  • Strong understanding of logistics service markets and customs environments.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving and data evaluation.

Education
