Job summary

This role involves managing strategic vessel sourcing and supplier partnerships within a global procurement organization focused on renewable energy. The position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of wind turbine components worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field
• Proven experience in ocean freight procurement, vessel chartering, or project logistics
• Solid understanding of maritime logistics and transportation execution
• Experience with multipurpose, heavy-lift, or breakbulk cargo solutions is preferred
• Familiarity with chartering and transportation contracts is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement for outbound vessel transportation, including chartering and heavy-lift logistics
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to secure competitive terms and reliable capacity
• Negotiate and manage transportation contracts and framework agreements
• Build and maintain relationships with vessel owners and logistics providers
• Monitor freight markets and provide insights to support business objectives
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and stakeholders to align transportation solutions with project needs
