Category Manager & Team Leader (Nordic Fleet)

Job summary

Lead the transformation of the Nordic Fleet and drive strategic category management across the region. This role combines strategic responsibilities with team leadership, overseeing a team of six colleagues across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic category management and operational leadership.
• Strong leadership skills with a background in managing teams or cross-functional projects in dynamic environments.
• Analytical mindset with experience in navigating complex organizational structures.
• Academic degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field.
• Experience in fleet management or asset-intensive operations is advantageous.
• Fluent communication skills in English and a Nordic language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide day-to-day support and coordination for the Nordic Fleet team.
• Drive the transition towards common Nordic processes and governance.
• Manage supplier agreements and build strong supplier relationships.
• Analyze market trends and conduct risk assessments.
• Ensure adherence to category strategies and monitor KPIs.

Skills

• Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, risk management, finance, and contract management.
• Ability to engage and lead teams through change in a matrix organization.

Education

• Academic degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field.

• Experience with supplier relationship management and category management frameworks.
