Job summary

The role involves developing and executing sourcing and category strategies for goods and services in support of towage operations across Europe. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders in a dynamic maritime environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Proven track record in managing suppliers and contracts.
  • Experience in an international setting, preferably within the maritime or a similar technical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain category strategies based on internal demand and market intelligence.
  • Execute the source-to-contract process with necessary expert involvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of categories for cost efficiency.
  • Manage contracts, including implementation and risk management.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, performance management, and joint planning.
  • Support internal demand analysis, planning, and forecasting.
  • Analyze data to identify industry trends and sourcing opportunities.

Education
