Job summary

The role of Category Manager in Marketing & Sales Procurement involves partnering with the Group Marketing department to optimize procurement strategies for various marketing-related services. This position is focused on driving value creation and enhancing brand growth through effective supplier management and strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in marketing procurement or related commercial roles, ideally in an international or FMCG setting.
  • Proven track record in managing tenders, RFX processes, and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and conducting market analysis.
  • Familiarity with marketing agency categories such as creative, AV production, design, and events.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in cross-functional and multinational team environments.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to planning and execution.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Procurement Business Partner to Group Marketing, aligning goals and priorities.
  • Develop and implement marketing procurement strategies in collaboration with Global Category Managers.
  • Lead major RFX processes, including data collection and supplier evaluation.
  • Foster value through strategic supplier partnerships and effective performance management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in marketing procurement best practices.
  • Analyze market trends and spending patterns to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Group Legal, Finance, Integrated Supply Chain, and regional procurement teams.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in procurement, marketing, or a related field.
