Job summary

This role involves shaping product strategy and driving innovation within the balance category in the diagnostics sector. The Category Manager will define and manage the strategic direction of the balance portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, healthcare, or a related field
• Solid experience in the balance field
• Several years of experience in product management, preferably in medical devices or diagnostics
• Experience in a global, matrix organization is beneficial but not mandatory
• Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into product strategies
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with effective prioritization abilities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and cultures

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global category strategy and 5-year product roadmap for balance
• Translate customer and market insights into product priorities and innovation opportunities
• Drive product and platform positioning to ensure differentiation across brands and segments
• Lead business case development and prioritize product investments
• Collaborate with R&D and Clinical teams to influence product development
• Manage product lifecycle, including phase-in/phase-out decisions
• Monitor category performance and refine strategy based on data and feedback
• Align stakeholders across brands and functions for effective execution
